Layla has been living in the shadow of her sister who mysteriously disappeared ten years ago. On the anniversary of her sister’s disappearance, she experiences a nasty fall while ice skating and knocks her head on the ice.
When Layla wakes up, she finds that she has been magically transported to a kingdom made of ice and snow called Verglas. There, she is declared the warrior Verglas has been waiting for. She must choose between fighting against the Frosts—a long-time enemy—or going home without finding out more about her sister’s disappearance.
Will she succeed as the warrior like her predecessors? Or will she crumble under all the pressure?
