Fadzlishah Johanabas is a neurosurgeon with nearly 19 years of experience in the field, specialising in paediatric neurosurgery. Beyond the operating room, he channels his passion for storytelling into speculative fiction, with over 25 stories published internationally and locally since 2009. Notably, his short story about an android embracing Islam, “Act of Faith,” will be incorporated into the STPM syllabus starting in 2026. An avid gamer, Fadz draws inspiration from RPGs like Final Fantasy, Mass Effect, and World of Warcraft. He also enjoys discussing music, writing, video games, and—when in the right mood—theology. Residing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he continues to explore the intricate connections between the human mind and the art of narrative.
