Mustafa Kamal Ataturk

After becoming the first President of Turkey, Mustafa Kamal Atarturk began to use the title ‘Atarturk’, which means Turkish ancestry. Thus began his reign of terror upon the Muslim empire. Amongst others, he abolished the caliphate system and the Ministry of Waqf (endowment), closed down the mosques, converted the mosque, Hagia Sophia into museum, and closed down the Islamic University of Istanbul and the religious schools in Turkey.

Mustafa Kamal Atarturk died of liver disease and an array of mysterious illnesses.
