Prince Fariri really enjoys cooking. He would frequently sneak into

the palace kitchen without his parent’s knowledge. While travelling,
Fariri was offered a job as the chef at Mari-Mari-La Restaurant. He was
happy because he was sure that his dream would soon be fulfilled.
However, much to his disappointment, he was mistreated by the owner of
the restaurant, Mr. Goni. Fariri was bullied and was never given the
opportunity to cook. One day, he found a magic recipe book. From that
day onwards, the book taught Fariri on the proper way to cook.

In the second book, Prince Fariri dreams that he has been approached by
a princess from Laksana Bulan. The princess is craving for doughnuts,
even though at that time, doughnuts did not exist. When he wakes up from
his dream, Prince Fariri is determined to find the country known as
Laksana Bulan. After getting his parents’ consent, Prince Fariri begins
his journey.

In his journey, Prince Fariri faces many challenges
and obstacles. When strong waves hit his ship, it sank. Fortunately, he
is saved by a captain of another ship. Prince Fariri returns the favour
by doing odd jobs on that ship. He cleans the kitchen and prepares
doughnuts for the crew. The crew praised Prince Fariri for his delicious
doughnuts.

One day, the ship arrives at Laksana Bulan. The captain sees a notice
that says that whoever is able to provide doughnuts for the princess of
Laksana Bulan, that person would be richly rewarded. The captain takes
advantage of Prince Fariri and immediately orders the prince to bake his
doughnuts. The captain would later tell the princess that he is the one
who baked the doughnuts.

The captain’s evil plan is eventually uncovered and Prince Fariri avails himself to serve the doughnuts to the princess.
