A Journey Through Fear

A JOURNEY THROUGH FEAR: a continuing quest for understanding is a story about the career development of an executive manager who started as an NEB engineer and retiring as one of its CEOs, and still continuing being active focussing on helping managers to develop their talents and skills to the full. It all began in his belief. “I was not a Boy Scout like my other school mates, nor did I have prior training in most of what was in the OBS curriculum. So it was all new experience for me. I experienced fear, anxiety and misgivings especially in the first week. However I soon found out something about my abilities in athletics; that I could run faster, jump higher and throw longer than I had ever done or imagined before. I found that all this could be achieved with proper technique and greater determination and discipline. And as my confidence grew, the fear and the anxiety receded.
